The project “Brutalismo Jugoslavo (Italian for Jugoslavian Brutalism)” is a journey through Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, and Slovenia to closely observe the remnants of the brutalist era, where various architects redefined architectural standards and left an indelible mark on the history of the Balkan countries. They shaped a rigid, raw, and rigorous style that these nations still struggle to break free from today. The project is articulated through a series of postcards, a poster, a tri-fold leaflet, and a 24-page brochure.
